Don't forget: Wear a Hat to School day is on Thursday 28th March, our last day of term. We are requesting a voluntary £1 donation to Brain Tumour Research, a charity close to our hearts, having lost staff and parents to this cancer over the last few years. Thanks for your support!

Sefton Schools' Cross Country Championships

Class: Year 4 Year: 2021 - 2022

Conditions were muddy at Birkdale Common for the first Sefton Schools' Cross Country Championships for  3 years. All our athletes demonstrated great resilience and determination and we are proud of you for representiing St Luke's so well.

There were some fabulous individual results and news got even better when we found out that as a team, St Luke's were victorious in winning the Southport Waterloo Challenge Trophy for the first time!

Congratulations everybody and apologies if you didn't manage a photo in the gallery, but Mrs Delaney, who was running things on her own, was extremely busy managing the team and took photos when she could. A huge thank you to her for ensuring that we could compete in this competition.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
