Don't forget: Wear a Hat to School day is on Thursday 28th March, our last day of term. We are requesting a voluntary £1 donation to Brain Tumour Research, a charity close to our hearts, having lost staff and parents to this cancer over the last few years. Thanks for your support!

Children from Busy Bees Nursery, Pine Tots Pre-School and our Roots and Shoots families were invited to the Reception production of 'Noah's Ark', retold through music, song and dance. Please see photograh below.

STEM Water Challenges with Busy Bees Nursery

Fifteen 'Busy Bees' and their helpers visited school on Wednesday morning.  They were well prepared with wellies, waterproofs and towels - just in case!  Together, we experimented with colour separation (Science), recording our activities (Technology), getting water to the swamp and dam building area, (Engineering) and 'How many more buckets of water do we need to bathe the dolls?' (Maths)  Lots of fun and lots of learning too.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
