Success! We have watched our bean plants with bated breath and they have finally revealed themselves. What a difference a week makes! We’ve observed their stems lengthening and their leaves appearing. Fantastic!
Not only have we talked about the different parts of plants but the various jobs they do. We have also discussed both garden and wild plants and look forward to using our knowledge, next Tuesday, when we go on our plant hunt. Please look out for a Spider message providing more details.
Following on from our leaf sketching, last week, plants and leaves have been our stimulus once again. We have loved creating wax resist leaves and bluebell water colours.
In the week ahead, we look forward to learning more about terrific trees and their similarities and differences. Can’t wait!
