Year 6 Weekly Blog (5. 4. 19)

Date: 5th Apr 2019 @ 2:52pm

We must first thank the children for all of their hard work this term, and all of the adults in and out of school, who have pushed them on and supported them in their learning; it really is paying off and the children's confidence is growing all of the time.

We have ended term very positively and have had a wonderful final week. On top of our usual learning, Year 6 have been busy visiting and being visited, having been to Scarisbrick Road Baptist Church for their Mission:Impossible learning about the Easter story and Jesus' sacrifice. We have also been lucky enough to enjoy Year 4's retelling of the Easter story - can you believe it was 2 years ago that your children were doing the same? Both in school and whilst out representing St. Luke's, the children's amazing standards of behaviour have been commented on. We are very proud of them.

Our LEARN award winners for this half term are Rosie (6G) for Explore New Things,  and Olivia (6WD) for Reflect and Improve. Well done girls. You really are a credit to us.

We hope that everyone has an enjoyable, safe and relaxing holiday. Please come back refreshed and ready for the next big push.
