Year 6 Weekly Blog (14. 12. 18)

Date: 13th Dec 2018 @ 5:46pm

Year 6 have continued to shine this week. They have pulled together lots of their learning from this term, in order to complete some assessments. This has been seen by all as a fantastic opportunity to celebrate their progress, and it has certainly done just that. All of the children should be proud of their hard work so far this year, and enjoy the fruits of their labour.

The children have also continued to show their creative sides, by continuing their ‘make do and mend’ DT projects. Although needlework and exercising lots of patience have been a challenge to many, all of Year 6 have embraced this opportunity with all of their might.

We finished the week by enjoying our annual Christmas pantomime, which was ‘Puss in Boots’ this year. Many said it was their favourite one yet, and it has got us all in the festive spirit, going into our final week of 2018 (where has the time gone?).

Our Superstars this week are Tommy (6G) and Kiera (6WD). A huge congratulations to you both.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone and we’ll see you on Monday for the final push.
