Year 5 Weekly Blog (8. 03. 19)

Date: 8th Mar 2019 @ 4:50pm

What an exciting week we have had in Year5!   In Science we have been heating and burning various materials to see if changes are reversible or irreversible. The chocolate smelt delicious as it was heated but the egg,,,

In Maths we have finished learning all about percentages and have now moved onto Geometry.

Rehearsals are well under way for our pantomime "Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits." From rehearsals so far, we know it is going to be spectacular, lots of children have learnt their lines already and the singing is sensational. Costumes have started arriving in school and as a result, we are all getting very excited - the Year 5 staff even more so than the children.

Well done to all the children who took part in the National Book Day design a potato competition. We loved all our Y5 entries, with such a variety of characters from the cat in the hat and Peter rabbit to the Three Little Pigs and a Golden Snitch. Well done everyone. Look out for the pictures on the website gallery.
