Year 4 Blog 5.5.23

We have had a shorter but busy week in Year 4.
In Maths, the children have continued working on their topic of Time. They have been converting hours to minutes. They have also used number lines to solve problems on the duration of time.
In PSHE the children have been discussing the environment, and why it is important to recycle.
On Friday, the children came to school wearing red, white and blue. They were very excited to take part in a whole school picnic, to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III. They enthusiastically waved their flags and sang the national anthem. They even had time with their buddies, completing some orienteering based on the coronation!
