Year 4 Blog 30.6.23

The children had the opportunity to meet their new teachers and see their new classrooms this week. They are very excited to be moving higher up the school, in September.

In Geography, we have been looking at the physical features of Russia. The children were introduced to four of the biomes found in Russia.

In English, the children were asked to choose one of the biomes and write a paragraph to describe it. The class listened to their description, and tried to guess which biome they were describing.

In Maths, the children have been looking at the perimeter and the area of figures. They have been looking closely at the perimeter and area of figures and have compared them.

In PE, the children have practiced their races, ready for Sport’s Day on Monday.

In RE we have looked at the story of Adam and Eve. We discussed temptation, and how it is sometimes difficult to make the right choice.
