Don't forget: Wear a Hat to School day is on Thursday 28th March, our last day of term. We are requesting a voluntary £1 donation to Brain Tumour Research, a charity close to our hearts, having lost staff and parents to this cancer over the last few years. Thanks for your support!

Year 4 Blog 1.7.22

Date: 1st Jul 2022 @ 2:17pm

What a busy time we have had in year 4 this week!

In English, the children continued to work with the Great Kapok Tree. They have been looking at ideas they could use, to change certain parts of the original story.

In Maths, the children have been identifying and plotting symmetrical figures.

All the children enjoyed their Sport’s Day at Range on Wednesday, and thankfully the weather was kind to us! The children enthusiastically took part in their races and cheered each other on.

On Thursday, the children excitedly met their new teachers. They spent the morning getting used to their new classrooms, ready for September.

Congratulations to this week's superstars: -

Many thanks again for supporting your child’s learning.

The Year 4 Team.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
