The festivities have definitely begun! Earlier in the week, the children watched the SASWT Christmas assembly, which got us all ready for the spirit of Christmas! They also enjoyed watching their year 2 friends perform in their Nativity. We even enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner, on Wednesday.

The children have their fun Christmas takeover day to look forward to next Tuesday, which includes their Christmas party! So, no doubt they will be full of the Christmas spirit!

A big ‘well done’ to our weekly Superstars:

Florence 4C and Henry 4WM

Next week, is a short week in the lead up to Christmas. The children will be walking to church with their buddies on Wednesday, as year 1 are leading the Christmas service. We will also be going to Range, to watch some of our year 4 children take part in The Jolly Christmas Show.

Many thanks again for supporting your child’s learning.

We wish you all a very happy Christmas and look forward to an exciting 2024.

The Year 4 Team.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
