Year 4 blog 10.12.21

Date: 10th Dec 2021 @ 2:07pm

The children have enjoyed another busy week. They have been writing super diary entries about the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb, as if they were Howard Carter himself.

They were also lucky enough to take part in making a Christingle on Thursday, with some ladies from St Luke’s parish. Together, they made over 100 Christingle’s, which will be used at the service on Sunday, in St. Luke’s church.

A big ‘well done’ to Max 4C and Joel 4W for being our Superstars this week.

Next week will be filled with many exciting events in the lead up to Christmas. The children will have the opportunity to watch the Year 2 Christmas production, as well as having their Christmas dinner and their Christmas party.

Many thanks again for supporting your child’s learning.

The Year 4 Team.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
