Year 3 Weekly Blog (9. 11. 18)

Date: 9th Nov 2018 @ 3:51pm

Year 3 has certainly rocked this week!

The children continued to building an impressive collection of sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic rocks, from both near and far, and we look forward to discussing them further.

Research and discussions have shown the children just how varied the appearance and physical properties of rocks can be.

Following our edible rock investigations, it is now time for our budding geologists to turn their attention to a variety of other rock samples.  In the coming week, we will focus on the physical features of a variety of rocks and their properties.

We also look forward to fascinating fossils in the weeks to come …

In maths, the children will continue to focus on subtraction and this week’s homework reflects this.
