5.3.21

We’ve made it! Our last week of home learning is complete and we are so excited to be welcoming you back to school on Monday. We are beyond proud of you all, not just for the way in which you have taken all of this remote learning in your stride, but for the way you have dealt with the entire situation. Our Year 3 Christian value is Thankfulness and we are certainly thankful that you are all returning to school.

On returning to school don’t forget to bring all of your school resources. You will need all of the books that we sent home in the first week of January. You will also need your pencil case filled with pens, pencils, ruler, rubber, sharpener, scissors and glue and you will all need your bottle of sanitiser. Also remember to organise your home learning and have your favourite piece of work ready for us to display. Something else we encourage you to bring to school is a mid-morning snack. You are going to feel hungry next week as you won’t be able to dip into the snack box at home whenever you’re feeling peckish so it’s really important you have something to fill the gap before lunchtime but remember, no snacks containing nuts please.

Finally, dust off your lunch boxes, find your book bag and get your uniform ready (hopefully it still fits) and we will see you all on Monday – we can’t wait!

Enjoy your weekend,

The Year 3 Team

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
