Year 2 Weekly Blog (15. 7. 22)

Date: 12th Jul 2022 @ 1:19pm

Our last week in Year has been a great one!

On Monday, the children went to Range High School for Sports Day.  The weather was very warm and we all had a great time.  Thank you to Range and all the students who helped to organise the event.  We hope all the families that came to cheer the children on enjoyed the morning as well!

All of school went to the hall to watch the Year 6 leavers' show on Tuesday.  The children loved watching their buddies perform their variety show.

On Thursday, the children went to church for the final service of the year.  It was lovely to be able to be in church for the Year 6 leavers' service - something we haven't been able to do for a few years.

We hope you all have a restful and enjoyable summer; we have had a super year with the children, and we hope that they have had as much fun as we have this year!

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
