Friday 24th November

What a wonderful time we had at Knowsley Safari Park, on Thursday! The children were excited to see all the different animals and were interested and enthusiastic throughout. We loved learning even more about the animal kingdom and the animal groups we have been discussing. We are very proud of them. Our puppet project also commenced with the children trialling various joining methods. At the design stage, next week, they will choose their favourite method and use it when making their puppet.

Next week, we will also learn about St Andrew’s Day, St Andrew and more about the human and physical features of Scotland.Time will be taken discussing COP28 and climate change. So much to look forward to!

There are lots of coughs and colds about, at the moment, and we always encourage the children to have a tissue at the ready. We would very much appreciate tissue donations and would like to thank you if you have already provided us with a box.

Have a lovely weekend.

Many thanks for your continued support.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
