Thursday 21st December

Our half term has ended with anticipation and excitement in the air.

The children had a fabulous time on Take Over Day and we are very grateful to FOSLS for all their hard work in making it happen. Do take a look at the photographs capturing our day.

We are so proud of the children, and their amazing retelling of the Christmas Story, during our Christmas church services. We received a number of golden tickets, that day, and are delighted to say both Year 1 classes will enjoy their Golden Ticket Reward afternoon on that first Thursday back. Well deserved! A Spider giving further information has been sent out.

Thank you for your Christmas best wishes and kindness. It is very much appreciated.

We wish you a very Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you in January.

Many thanks for your continued support.

The Year One Team

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
