Reception Weekly Blog (9. 11. 2018)

Date: 9th Nov 2018 @ 3:28pm

What another lovely, busy week! Bonfire Night inspired us to make 2D shape, firework-rockets, the children have created their very own firework displays using lots of paint and glitter!

We enjoyed our first outdoor games lesson on Tuesday, where the children learned a warm-up game “flush the loo”. Our number work inspired by the number three, led us to explore triangles and cylinders. See if you can find some at home, it would be lovely to hear about it on a good news slip.

As we approach Remembrance Day we have spoken to the children about the significance of a poppy. They have all produced a beautiful picture which they will bring home on Monday. This allows us to start thinking about others which will continue next week with Children in Need. Your £1 snack donation next week will go towards Children in Need fundraising and the children will enjoy a piece of toast each day.
