Reception Weekly Blog (18. 12. 20)

Date: 16th Dec 2020 @ 2:10pm

Here we are at the end of our Autumn Term!
We are immensely proud of all the children and how much they have achieved since starting St. Luke’s.

We have continued to learn about The Nativity and thoroughly enjoyed watching our talented Year 2 friends perform their show stopping ‘Nativity’ – well done to them.

We loved having Breakfast with Santa and also enjoyed our Reception Christmas Party, playing games and having fun together.

Please be reminded that our Outdoor Games sessions have changed to Monday’s and Thursday’s, children need to come into school in their games kit on these days.

We would also like to say a BIG thank you for all your Christmas wishes and thoughtful gifts, we are truly grateful.

Happy Holidays everyone, wishing you a happy and healthy 2021

Thank you for your continued support.
See you in January,

The Reception Team :)

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
