What a fantastic week we have had! With Christmas fast approaching we have enjoyed learning all about the Nativity. The children have had the opportunity to dress up as Mary and Joseph, wise men, shepherds and angels, to act out the Nativity in our role play stable.

We have also enjoyed Raymond Briggs ‘The Snowman’, and the children have been exploring the story through dance, both indoors and outside during our game’s lessons. On Tuesday our site manager brought in his snow machine and the children had great fun in the pretend snow.

We are SO proud of our Reception children…we have learned all of our set 1, Read Write Inc. speed sounds now. Keep practising at home for speedy recognition! Thank you.

The children were amazing today as they participated in the Santa Dash. Thank you for your help in making it festive, the children looked fabulous. Enjoy looking at the photographs.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
