Good evening all,

Welcome to the second half of our Spring term. How the time is flying by!

This week, the children have been back with a bang and as busy as ever.

In Maths, they've been tackling algebra, which is always a tricky subject, but one that they've enjoyed and gave their all to.

Our new topic of NYC, which is a geography focussed topic, has also started out well and it's lovely to see the children enjoying it so much as they've built on their already excellent geography skills by locating New York and Liverpool on Google Chromebooks and reviewing their physical and human geographical features.

Well done to all and have a lovely weekend!

The Y6 team

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
