Don't forget: Wear a Hat to School day is on Thursday 28th March, our last day of term. We are requesting a voluntary £1 donation to Brain Tumour Research, a charity close to our hearts, having lost staff and parents to this cancer over the last few years. Thanks for your support!

Blog - 14.1.22

Good evening,

Our apologies for our late blog, but we thought better late than never and we hope that you've all had a lovely weekend.

Last week, the children worked very hard indeed and have continued enjoying our new topic: Evolution Solution.

They wrote beautiful descriptive paragraphs about Pandora from the blockbuster hit, Avatar. This was a particular highlight.

In Maths, we've continued covering measurements and the children have all done well in this area.

And as ever, their behaviour has been exemplary.

Take care.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
