Year 6 blog for week ending 16.5.25
Date: 16th May 2025 @ 1:25pm
This week has been a wonderful one at St. Luke’s, filled with challenges and successes. The children in Year 6 have tackled the SATs with enthusiasm, resilience, focus and positivity. All of the staff throughout school, not only those who are currently working with the cohort, are immensely proud of how the children have applied themselves.
We rounded out the week beautifully, with a trip on Friday morning to Duke Street Park. The children were a credit to our school and to you – their families. Thank you for all of your support in what is always a challenging year for the children.
Now that the SATs are out of the way, we have plenty of new things to focus on: the leavers’ show, our residential to Dearne Valley, the transition to high school, and much more.
Have a great weekend and congratulate your child on all of their hard work and remind them how proud we are of all they have achieved – no matter what their final assessment grade is.
