In Year 6 this we, we have continued our stuies of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trae, by locating the 3 main areas on maps and describing what was taken to each place. We have continued to read the novel Freedom, where Nat has discovered that even though he has reached England, he is not necessarily a free man, to his great displeasure.
In maths we have focussed in on angles, using a protractor to measure and draw them, as well as looking at more geometric properties such as similarities in vertically opposite angles and using this to work out missing angles. In RE we have continued our discussion on who actually was Jesus, by looking at his many title and finding evidence in the Bible on where he shows these traits.
It was another great World Book Day with the children dressing up fantastically and enjoying getting involved in the various activities, such as the Alphabet of Characters and the Badly Described Books games.
