Thank goodness for some cooler weather!
This week we have had a flurry of exciting things taking place. For starters, our wonderful Sports Day where all the children gave their absolute best. We are so proud of their effort andd displays of the School Games values throughout. Well done, one and all.
We have also rounded off our delightful art project, celebrating 250 years of the Lifeboat Station in Formby. Our children have produced a fantastic array of paintings which will be on display at various locations around Formby!
In Maths, we are motoring towards completion of the National Curriculum, focussing on negative numbers this week. The children have done very well with this concept.
In English, the children have created some wonderful short stories from a writing prompt. Most people have presented theirs to the class this Friday afternoon.
In Computing, we have begun to present the video content that the children have created. There are some great editing skills on show and some fantastically witty themes throughout.
