Wow! What a scorcher of a week we've had at St. Luke's!

Thank you for remembering to apply sun cream to your child before they come to school each morning and for ensuring they bring a named water bottle filled with fresh water every day. We will continue to encourage the children to drink regularly, refill their bottles when needed, and apply their own sun cream throughout the day if required.

We've made lots of arrangements to help keep everyone happy and cool, making the most of our shaded outdoor areas and water play opportunities so the children can continue to enjoy their learning and play safely in the warm weather.

We absolutely loved our Year 2 transition morning on Thursday! The children were excited to meet their new teachers, explore their new classrooms, and came back full of stories about their adventures. A particular highlight was meeting the Year 2 chicks!

We're all looking forward to Sports Day taking place at Range High School on Wednesday 1st July. It will be a wonderful morning to cheer one another on and celebrate everyone's efforts as we take part in our races. To help everything run safely and smoothly, please do not cross the running track at any point to reach your child. If you need any assistance during the event, a member of staff will be happy to help at either end of the track.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
