Another busy and exciting week in Year 1... week two complete!

The children have continued to settle into their new classrooms well, we are very pleased with the start they have made to life in KS1.

This week we have enjoyed our PE lessons, gymnastics and fundimental games, take a look at some of the photos below.

The new Home Learning grid for Autumn 1 has been placed in your child's book bag alongside the red words for this half term.

It was lovely to see you all at the 'Meet the Teacher' evening, thanks to those who came. If you missed the meeting don't worry, there is a booklet available with an overview of the year, if you ask your child's class teacher.

Many thanks for your continued support, we really appreciate it.

Have a great and restful weekend,

The Year One Team

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
