Welcome to Reception!

What a wonderful first day we have had welcoming our new Reception children! We are so incredibly impressed with how brilliantly they have settled into school and how confidently they have approached their very first day.

Starting school is such a huge milestone, and we know that getting used to new routines, new faces and lots of new names can feel a little tricky at first. However, our new starters have made a fantastic beginning and should be so proud of themselves!

Throughout the day, the children have explored all of the different areas of our Reception classrooms with such confidence. They have investigated, played, chatted, created and begun to make our classrooms feel like their own. It has been lovely to see their little personalities already beginning to shine through.

The children have also enjoyed their first school lunch and are beginning to get used to choosing and ordering their food, fishy Friday was a hit! We know there is lots to learn when you first start school, and they have done amazingly well!

We couldn't be prouder of our new Reception children and the brilliant start they have made. Well done, everyone!

We already can't wait to get back into school on Monday and welcome the children back for another exciting day of learning, playing and exploring together. We think we are going to have a very special year!
