Year 4 blog 27.6.25

Date: 27th Jun 2025 @ 1:31pm

We’ve had a week full of fun in Year 4!

On Thursday, we had a visit to The Atkinson in Southport. The children have been taking part in Sing for Sefton and they joined other schools for a singing spectacular!

In Maths, the children have been comparing amounts of money.

In PE, the children have practiced their races, ready for Sport’s Day on Monday. Finger’s crossed the weather is kind to us!

The children had the opportunity to visit their new Year 5 classes on Friday, and get used to their new classrooms. They are very excited to be moving higher up the school, in September.

Congratulations to this week's superstars: -

4C: Julek

4M: Joshua, Alfie, Harriet, Xander, George, Aurora, Eleanor.

Many thanks again for supporting your child’s learning.

The Year 4 Team.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
