Thankfully, the sun has continued to shine for us this week!
We have all taken part in art, singing and drama, as part of our Art’s week.
The children enjoyed exploring abstract art by creating portraits inspired by Pablo Picasso. They used shapes, bold colours, and unusual perspectives to show faces in creative ways. They experimented with paint, pastels, and collage, and made their own imaginative self-portraits. They had fun experimenting with mixing up facial features.
The children also took part in singing, drumming and dancing workshops throughout the week, and thoroughly enjoyed expressing themselves through words and actions.
The children have enjoyed looking at countries in Europe. They have been remembering the countries they have visited; and those they wish to visit it the future.
In PE, they had fun practising their sport’s day races, ready for the big day in a couple of weeks.
