FOSLS - Friends of St Luke's School
Welcome to the Friends of St Luke's (FOSLS)
St Luke's Primary school is fortunate to have a very active Friends team. The children, staff and governors are most grateful for the contribution they make to our school. This work is only possible with your help.
FOSLS are always looking for parents, carers or friends to help coordinate or help out at the various events. We are always delighted to hear from anybody who would like to get involved, no matter how much or how little you can do, whether that is behind the scenes, helping us with things that can be done at home, or helping out at one or more of many events. We are a friendly, enthusiastic group where nobody's contribution is too small.
We would love to see you at our meetings. We meet each half term, 7.30pm at the Pinewoods Pub. The date of our meetings are available at the office, in our minutes or on our website! All are welcome, the meetings are informal and fun. FOSLS is open to all and coming along to a meeting does not mean that you need to sign up to every meeting. There are lots of little and infrequent jobs that you can help with, particularly at our events.
To find out more or get more involved please email or drop your details into the school office and one of Friends will get in touch. Alternatively have a look at the website and if you know of us grab us in the playground!!
First and foremost YOU are already a member of FOSLS!! Everybody involved in the life of St Luke's is automatically a Friend. However, there are a core group of people involved in much of the decision making in FOSLS, we have listed those people below. Please feel free to speak to them if you would like to become more involved, have any ideas or can help in anyway. We also always want to know what you would like us to raise money for and what you think the school needs. Everything we do is for the children and the school. Our meetings are informal and welcomming.
