And breathe… what a week!

The children are quite literally on the ceiling after a week of wonderful festive highs. We sat spell
bound as our Year 2 friends put on a terrific performance of The Nativity on Monday morning.
What a treat and such a wonderful way to start the week. Well from there the excitement has just
built and built. Breakfast with Santa, Christmas Dinner day, Storytime with Father Christmas, our
Christmas party … all wrapped up in a blur of snowflakes, penguins, sewing and glitter. The
children keep asking, “How many more days to go?” Christmas is almost here and we are
looking forward to one final festive push next week. We will be going to church on Tuesday and
enjoying a good old Christmas singalong on Wednesday. Can we sneak in a Christmas movie
too we wonder? A Primary School really is the most magical place to be as we enter these last
few hectic days before the big man arrives.

Please take a look at some of our fabulous work on Antarctica and some very happy faces at
Breakfast with Santa.

We have really enjoyed getting to know your children this term and wish you all a happy, healthy
and harmonious Christmas surrounded by all the things that make your family feel special

.
Please remember school finishes at 1.45pm on Wednesday 22nd December.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
The Year 3 Team x

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
