Welcome back!

We hope you had a wonderful break and celebrations. The fun has continued. We have had a fabulous time, today, with our Jubilee picnic. We took the opportunity to make our own commemorative plates and put them to good use. A great time was had by all! Take a look at the photos of our special day.

We've also introduced our new topic "Beside the Seaside" and look forward to learning more about it both past and present. We have also been thinking about the importance of sleep and what it does for us. We have shared our top tips for a good nights sleep. Sweet dreams!

This week, our homework focus is on time but please look out for a further practice sheet for phonic screening. Additionally, you will see we have included our new red words and Home Learning Grid. Homework is required in each Wednesday. Please contact us should you have any queries. Have a lovely weekend.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
