Year 4 Weekly blog 17th January

Date: 19th Jan 2020 @ 11:22am

The children are now fully back into the swing of things after the Christmas break. Thank you for all of your kind gifts: it's fully appreciated. This week 4W had their second swimming session and 4C their first Egyptian dance lesson. In games, we battled the elements and further improved our invasion skills and through tag rugby. In science we have been studying food chains and had a deep discussion about primary consumers being omnivores?? What do you think? In English we have started to look at features of newspapers in preparation for writing our Egyptian Times news report on the discovery of Tutankhamen's tomb. Maths has been a busy one with us all working hard to master long division so that we can add this tool to our tool kit. Next week we look forward to visiting Liverpool museum which is always an enjoyable educational trip.

Jacob Lavin has produced a beautiful Pointillism painting - click here to view!
