Reception Weekly Blog (29.11.19)

Date: 29th Nov 2019 @ 3:30pm

As the weather has got colder this week we have started to talk about an animal that lives in the coldest of all climates, Antarctica. The children have been spell bound by the plight of the Emperor Penguin and the lengths it goes to, to rear its young chick.
Our role play area has transformed into the Antarctic and the children have enjoyed spending time in there. We have been busy making shape penguins and will continue to explore Antarctica next week. With the rainy weather on Thursday the children enjoyed a session of Yoga in our classrooms.
